Tesla Powerwall

Any energy that your solar power system produces will be used to power any appliances that are already in use if solar battery storage is not present. You may accomplish the same things by adding a Tesla Powerwall battery, with the important distinction that any extra energy generated by your solar panels will be used to recharge the Powerwall.

Helping you conserve money, the Powerwall also employs a method known as "time of use load shifting," which draws electricity from the grid when it is not in high demand, helping you cut up thousands of dollars on your annual electricity bill.

With Tesla Powerwall’s battery technology, even if the grid goes down, you'll always have access to electricity. Your refrigerator and other vital home appliances will always have power thanks to the Powerwall's seamless power transition. Also, if you work from home, you won't have to worry about blackouts having an impact on your productivity.

Off-the-grid Living

The Tesla Powerwall features an unlimited number of cycles and a 10-year warranty with 70% maintained capacity which you can only use for backup and solar self-consumption. However, the number of cycles is restricted to 37.80 MWh of aggregate throughput for other uses, such as charging with solar energy and off-peak energy. Tesla will either repair or replace your Powerwall if it malfunctions within the warranty period, or it will reimburse you for your purchase price.

The Powerwall can be mounted on the floor or the wall and is appropriate for installation both inside and outside. This gives you more flexibility regarding where to install it. Any new or old solar system can be combined with the Powerwall.
